ROBBINSVILLE, NJ — A major milestone has been reached along Robbinsville Township’s thriving North Gold Business Corridor as construction officially begins on the highly anticipated industrial development at 110 North Gold Drive, known as PURVEYOR NORTH GOLD. The groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of a project that is expected to further strengthen the area’s position as one of New Jersey’s premier logistics and industrial destinations.
Local officials joined development and real estate leaders to commemorate the occasion, including Robbinsville Mayor Mike Todd, Director of Community Development Chris English, and Zoning Officer Dan Rafferty. Also in attendance were Matthew Frank, Principal and Head of Development for MORVAY, and David Zimmel, President of Zimmel Associates, whose long-standing relationship with the project helped bring the development from concept to construction.
Zimmel Associates played a pivotal role in the project, having originally facilitated the sale of the site to the development team and subsequently being retained as the exclusive leasing broker for the new facility.
“This project represents the culmination of a tremendous amount of planning, vision, and collaboration,” said David Zimmel, President of Zimmel Associates. “We are proud to have sold the site, and we are equally excited to continue our involvement as the exclusive leasing agent. The building isn’t even completed yet, and we’re already seeing significant interest from prospective users. We believe this will be one of the premier industrial opportunities in the region.”
The new industrial facility will encompass approximately 45,356 square feet on a 7.8-acre site, featuring modern design, 28-foot clear ceiling heights, power and office configurations tailored to tenant requirements, eight tailboard dock doors, a drive-in ramp, and ample parking. The building is being constructed using tilt-up concrete panels and is designed to accommodate a variety of industrial, warehouse, distribution, and flex-space users.
Strategically located just off Route 130 and Interstate 195, the property offers exceptional accessibility. It is situated only minutes from Exit 7A of the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295, providing direct connections to major markets throughout the Northeast. The location’s proximity to Princeton, Philadelphia, Newark Liberty International Airport, and New York City continues to drive strong demand from businesses seeking modern industrial space in central New Jersey.
The project underscores the continued growth of Robbinsville Township as a destination for commercial investment and economic development. Township leaders have actively supported responsible business growth along the North Gold corridor, helping attract high-quality ratables that contribute to the local tax base and create opportunities for future employment and investment.
Construction is currently underway, with occupancy anticipated by the end of 2026.
As development progresses, Zimmel Associates is actively marketing the property for lease and sale and reports strong interest from prospective tenants seeking new industrial inventory in one of the region’s most sought-after logistics corridors.
“Groundbreakings are always exciting because they represent more than just a building,” added Zimmel. “They represent investment, opportunity, and confidence in the future of the community. We are thrilled to be part of bringing this project to life.”
