Zimmel Brokers 140,000 Sq. Ft. Lease at Heller Industrial Park, Edison, NJ
David Zimmel Represents Packaging and Distribution Resources in Lease Valued at $4 Million Plus;
Client Also Takes Office Space at Raritan Plaza 1, Edison, NJ

Edison, NJ — Zimmel Associates, the Edison, NJ-based corporate real estate services firm, has represented Packaging and Distribution Resources, Inc. in a new long-term lease for 140,000 sq. ft. of industrial space at 40–48 Sawmill Pond Road South, which is located within Heller Park, Edison, NJ. David Zimmel, president, Zimmel Associates, negotiated the transaction, which is valued at $4 million plus.

David Zimmel also brokered PDR’s new lease for 4,000 sq. ft. of corporate office space at Raritan Plaza 1. Raritan Plaza 1 is a glass façade Class A office building connected to the Sheraton Edison Hotel and Conference Center at Raritan Center in Edison, NJ. It is a short driving distance from Heller Park.

Packaging and Distribution Resources (PDR) is a major warehouse, distribution and assembly services company, and long-standing Zimmel Associates client. The company will relocate its Sayreville, NJ operations to Edison, NJ.

“The vacancy rate for quality warehouse space in the Edison, Piscataway and South Plainfield, NJ market is less than five percent,” adds Zimmel. “I contacted my client shortly after becoming aware that the Heller Park space was available and the deal was closed within a matter of days. PDR made a prompt decision to secure the space, which is ideal for their business.”
